Ten Thousand Steps, Ten Thousand People: A Healthy Zhongmu"——Zhengzhou Lianhua Petrochemical Ignites a New Trend of Green Wellness Through Fitness

In alignment with China’s "Healthy China 2030" strategy and the national fitness initiative, and in active response to the green, low-carbon development goals of achieving "Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality," Zhengzhou Lianhua Petrochemical Co., Ltd. participated in the "Ten Thousand Steps, Ten Thousand People: A Healthy Zhongmu" staff fitness walk event organized by the Zhongmu New District Labor Union on April 16, 2025. Under the theme "A Century of Union Bonds, A New Chapter Forged Through Fitness,"the event aimed to enrich employees’ cultural and spiritual lives through scientific fitness practices, strengthen team cohesion and unity, and showcase the vigor of modern-day workers.  

Held at Zhongmu County Public Fitness Plaza, the 5-kilometer route wound through serene lakes and lush greenery. Employees strode energetically under the warm spring sun, embracing the beauty of nature while championing the concept of low-carbon travel.  

On the day of the event, uniformed staff set off in a spirited procession at the sound of the starting signal. The air buzzed with echoing chants and laughter as the team advanced like a long dragon along the riverside path. Radiating vitality, participants reveled in the joy of exercise and the scenic riverside views. They encouraged one another, racing forward with enthusiasm, transforming the waterfront into a vibrant tableau of energy and camaraderie.  

As a company rooted in Zhongmu, we remain committed to integrating employee well-being with corporate responsibility. This fitness walk was not only a dynamic fitness initiative but also a heartwarming team-building exercise; not just a green pledge for low-carbon living but a call to action for healthier lifestyles. Through their steps, employees measured the city’s beauty and channeled green energy into action, contributing to the vision of "an ecological, vibrant Zhongmu."
